ㅂ irregulars

ㅂ ending verbs (고맙다 to thank)

밉다 => 미워 , to hate, find disgusting
The ㅂ is dropped and the remaining last syllable is made into the correct 어/아 form as described in the corresponding grammar forum entry. That is, if the vowel in the character is ㅏ,ㅗ then add 아 and if it's 어,우 add 어. If the vowel in the last character is the neutral ㅡ then look at the previous character.
example:

잡다 수줍다 입다 업다 etc

if the rule is applied ㅂ changes into ㅜ or ㅗ depending on the vowel

양 vowels -> ㅗ
인 vowels +ㅣ -> ㅜ

덥다 더워더우니
곱다 고와 고우니

examples:

아름다와요 can be said 아름다워요
반갑다 can be said as 반가워요 is correct

두껍다
thick -> 두꺼운 옷
warm clothes
아 -> 오 ; 예) 반갑다 --> 반가와요.
오 -> 아 ; 예) 돕다 ---> 도와요.
아이들이 잘 도와 줘요. The kids help well.
애 -> 우 ; 예) 맵다 ----> 매워요

The verbs which do not follow this rule and keep their ㅂ are: 넓다 wide, 좁다 narrow, 입다 to wear, 집다 to pick up, 업다 to carry on one's back, 씹다 to chew, 뽑다 (뽑아, 뽑으니) to choose or select, 붙잡다 to stick, 잡다 to catch, 돕다 to help, 깁다 to patch up

Quoting: exceptions

뽑다 (to pull out) does not drop the ㅂ and so it becomes simply 뽑았어요.
입다 (to wear) ---> 입어요.
업다 (carry on one's back) --> 애기를 업어서 .... carrry the baby on one's back
씹다 (to chew)
교실에서 껌을 씹으면 안돼요. You must not chew a gum in the classroom.

넓다 (to be wide)
좁다 (to be narrow)
집다 (to pick up)
붙잡다 (to catch)
