Please see to read about how to make this form for the first part.
This form is called in Korean 보조 용언. This verb form has many uses. I will list some of them here:
1) 어/아 두다: means to place something somewhere
강아지 놔두고 사라진 주인
the owner who ties up up the dog and disappears
2) 어/아 놓다 : means to place something somewhere for future use.
3) 어/아 버리다 : means to have completed an action
4) 어/아 내다 : to be able to pull the preceding verb's actions all the way to completion.
5) This ending in itself is a familiar terminative ending. It is used in colloquial speech very, very often and is a must-know for the beginner.
6) 아/어도: this form is used when asking permission to do something. For example, 담배를 피워도 괜찮아요? is it okay to smoke?

10) 어/아 가다
