I have seen sites which offer pre-made vocabulary lists. However, the level of these lists may not be appropriate for you, or the list is too small. Instead of giving you words per level, I want to let the reader find their own words by reading the internet and using my javascript overlib technology to allow them to quickly locate words which are unknown to them.
Also you can choose vocab words which the scanner missed by searching the same dictionary on the left side.
The vocabulary list feature allows you to review your vocabulary. When you are satisified, you can remove the word from your list. You can test yourself with quizzes, too, if you want to be 100% sure you can translate the word instead of simply recognize it when you see it. So the addition of a small quiz feature is in actuality very important to using the lists wisely. Also, your words and hanja appear in the top of this page in the upper left corner to help you study as you surf the other features of the site.

You can even upload your own rss feed addresses into different language categories after you register.
NOTE: If you put it in the wrong language, it will never work.
I want this in the future to retrieve all web pages on the fly, but the programming challenge is not small.
The blue section below is what some internet text looks like from an rss feed. It is done like this so you can click words and get vocabulary pop-ups. If you click a highlighted word below, you will see the word's definitions; if you then click on a definition, you can see how the vocabulary list works. Unfortunately, in Microsoft Internet Explorer it opens a new window, whereas in Firefox it just opens a tiny blue box. I'm working on the javascript to get it to work fluently in MSIE.

서일전문대 정보통신학과를 다니다 군에 입대한 신승섭(28)씨는 2003년 12월 제대한 뒤 집 근처 롯데마트 구리점에서 아르바이트를 시작했다. 고교 졸업 후 대형매장에서 아르바이트를 해본 적이 있는 데다 사람들과 어울려 일하는 것을 좋아해 모집 공고를 보자마자 지원했다. 그가 매장에서 처음 맡은 일은 고객만족센터 지원 업무. 문제가 있는 물건을 교환·환불해 주고, 고객이 계산대 근처에 사 가지 않고 놓아둔 상품을 수거하는 고된 일이었다. 그는 “힘들어하는 아르바이트 사원이 많아 이직률이 높았는데, 나이가 맏형 격이라 동료들을 다독이며 일했다”고 말했다. 2005년 매장 보수공사를 하던 때엔 아르바이트생이지만 쉬는 날에도 출근했다. 리더십을 갖고 진득하게 일하는 그는 간부사원의 눈에 띄어 2006년 8월 정규직원이 됐다. 5급 사원으로 입사했는데, 이달 4급으로 승진해 인사·총무 파트를 담당하게 됐다. 그는 “매장 경험이 있다 보니 함께 대졸 공채로 들어온 동기들이 ‘어떻게 일을 그렇게 빨리 배울 수 있느냐’고 묻곤 한다”며 “아르바이트를 시작할 때는 정규직 입사를 기대하지 않았는데 열심히 하다 보니 좋은 결과가 나온 것 같다”고 했다. 구리점에는 신씨처럼 아르바이트를 통해 정규직이 된 사원이 수십 명이다.
